Full of wooded areas, flowers and pond views, Fresh Pond Reservation is a great area for great scenery. Fresh Pond Reservation is a large outdoor space that has many different parts to it, including Maher Field, Glacken Field, and Kingsley Park. The park is ideal for dogs, and functions as an off-leash dog park, which also includes the Little Fresh Pond Dog Beach (Cambridge residents only) – a great place get your pup swimming. Many people also use Fresh Pond for the running trails and biking paths that circle the pond. There is a 2.2 mile path the loops around the pond. The gradual hills are great for sledding in the wintertime for all ages.
