The Friends of Blackstone and Franklin Squares (“The Friends”) is a subcommittee of the Blackstone/Franklin Square Neighborhood Association. The organization was first created in 1995 as a non-profit, volunteer organization. Today, the organization manages the two green spaces, including funds donated for the upkeep and improvement to the parks.
