Turkey Trot @ Franklin Park

The Franklin Park Turkey Trot is back for its 9th year on Thanksgiving morning!  We hope you’ll join us in person once again.

Registration for the 9th Annual Turkey Trot 5k is filling up — sign up as an individual or team today!

The Franklin Park Coalition’s now-famous Turkey Trot started in 2013. After another record-breaking year, with more than 1,400 runners participating in 2019, we went virtual in 2020.  But we’re excited to be able to bring the Turkey Trot back to its origins in 2021 (with appropriate safety protocols in place). With runners and walkers coming primarily from the neighborhoods that border the park, including Roxbury, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, and Mattapan, the Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day race in the City of Boston.

  • All ages and paces welcome
  • Strollers and race-ready leashed dogs are welcome
  • Great prizes for fast finishers and costumes
  • The event is chip timed
