Training Field is a small park located on the Freedom Trail, with monuments benches and lovely views of the neighboring 19th century residences. The park was the site of a training ground for colonial militia in 1640s. Today, it is a historical site commemorating the men who fought to preserve the Union during the American Civil War.

The park is located in East Boston. The best way to get there is by taking the 120 bus, and getting off at the Bennington St @ Byron St stop. Non-Residents may be able to find street 2-hour street parking nearby.
