Training Field is a small park located on the Freedom Trail, with monuments benches and lovely views of the neighboring 19th century residences. The park was the site of a training ground for colonial militia in 1640s. Today, it is a historical site commemorating the men who fought to preserve the Union during the American Civil War.

Training Field is located in Charlestown. There is some parking in the area in case you wish to drive. You can take the 92 Bus to the Warren St @ Winthrop St stop, or the 93 Bus to the Chelsea St @ Constitution Rd stop. Both stations are a short walk to the park.
