Savin Hill Park is known as small hidden gem in the Savin Hill neighborhood in Dorchester. This is a wooded neighborhood park that offers a lot of shade in the summer. The park has a basketball court, two tennis courts and an open cement area typically used for street hockey. Savin Hill Park has short hiking trails up a small hill, with great views of the city, harbor and the Blue Hills at the top. In the winter, the hill at the bottom of the park can be used for sledding.
