The Rose Kennedy Greenway is located right in the Heart of Boston, and at the forefront of the North End neighborhood. It offers wonderful, up close views of city skyline. The linear park spans 1.5 miles and has a modern aesthetic and has a small open green space, water fountains, swinging benches and tables. There are many flower beds along the park, including roses at the Rose Kennedy Memorial Garden, located near Christopher Columbus Park, as well as daffodils, and daylilies. The park is well-maintained, and very close to Boston Public Market, the North End and Quincy Market, which makes it a convenient place for a picnic. There are also food trucks and farmers markets on Saturdays, and outdoor fitness classes including yoga classes. This greenway is one of the top destination for tourists, and can get crowded on summer weekends.
