Riverbend Park

Cambridge

(0 votes)
Riverbend Park is an intimate green space in Cambridgeport and close to Harvard Square. Bordering the Charles River the park has grassy spot for picnics (just bring a blanket), unobstructed views of the river, and a few benches for sitting. The park is also ideal for a nice walk or run along the river. Every Saturday and Sunday (11am-7pm) from April to November, Memorial Drive, which runs parallel to Riverbend Park, is closed to traffic, and open to recreation – it’s great for walking, biking, rollerblading and running along the Charles River. The street is closed from Western Ave to Mount Auburn Street.
