Located in Cambridgeport, Magazine Beach park is located on the Cambridge side of the Charles River. The park plenty of open field space, walking and running paths, and plenty of sport amenities, including a softball field and soccer field, with some pick-up games. The open field space makes it a great place to fly a kite. There is also a boating launch dock, a public swimming pool, and a parking lot.

Magazine Beach Park is 10 minutes from the Boston University West stop on the Green Line B Branch. Driving is probably the best way of getting to the park, as long as it’s not during rush hour.
