Lawn on D is a seasonal park located on D Street in South Boston. Often referred to as “Boston’s adult playground” it is known for having many events, including musical acts, and sells food, drinks and alcoholic beverages. There are plenty of lawn games including cornhole (bag toss), giant chess and checkers, bocce, and others. Lawn on D also known for having unmistakeable swings, which are great for an Instagram photo! It’s a fun tourism destination for those visiting from out of town.

Lawn on D can get crowded, and there is limited metered parking on D Street. There is self-pay lot located at the Lot On D (click here for rates), which is the official parking lot for Lawn on D, is across the street from the park. The best way is to either Uber, or to take the Silver Line and walk.
