Harambee Park is close to Franklin Park, and was originally created to provide people a place to play sports, when Franklin Park did not allow for it. It has a recently redone playground area that is wheelchair accessible equipment that’s for older kids to use, and contains acc. The park has tons of open field space for playing catch, frisbee, cricket and other activities.

Harambee Park is located in Dorchester. You can get to the park by taking the 22 or 45 bus to the Talbot Ave @ Nightingale St stop, or the 28 or 29 bus to the Blue Hill Ave @ Harvard St stop.
