Dorchester Park is a wooded forest area to retreat to in the midst of a busy urban area. There are walking paths that are also good for running or jogging. Dorchester Park is located in Dorchester’s Ashmont neighborhood. You can take the 24/27 bus route and the park is a 5 minute walk. There is also street parking. You can also take the Red Line to the Cedar Grove stop. There is some street parking that is typically available on Dorchester Ave, just a short walk to the playground area.
