The Charles River Esplanade (commonly referred to as “the Esplanade” in Boston) is a park with a path that goes along the bank of the Charles River. It is well-suited for running, biking, and rollerblading, and has great views of the Charles River. Within the park are tennis courts, little league fields (Teddy Ebersol Fields), and 3 different playgrounds along the main path. There are also yoga classes at Fiedler Field, hosted by River Fit Summer Fitness Series. This is also a popular destination for tourists.

Directions

The best way of transportation is going to be taking the T. On the green line, Copley, and Arlington stops are the closest walks. You can also take the Red Line and get off at the Charles MGH stop. If you are driving, there are some parking spots near Boston Common, but it may be easier to find a parking garage.
